I agree it was too short but it did have some lovely moments.

So charming to watch Matt and Jimmy dancing to The Roots! Of course how could you not dance to The Roots? I enjoyed their banter — “Listen to me, mirror self…” — and Matt’s experience driving the unmarked pace car. And how cute was his demonstration of E.T.’s grab of the leaves?

I love your captures and all the still pictures. I cannot do the video on my dial-up internet connection so I am always so happy to see your site. It is really the only place i go for ‘all things Matt”.
I also loved this interview. I have only seen one he has done that I was not nuts about and that was because of the person doing the interview. Matt interacts with most all of them so well and I am glad I stayed awake to watch this particular one. That comment “Listen to me-mirror self” was just too good! I think I even like Jimmy Fallon now too; I just never stay up to watch him.

I LOVED this interview. Matt was was so much more loose than he has been in other interviews. He’s always lovely and polite, but this felt less ‘scripted’ from him — like was willing to be more free. The E.T. thing was adorable. The dancing was sexy and fun. And the “mirror self” was hilarious. Also, love how he genuinely cheers on Bon Iver. He’s so genuine!

Just nice to see Matt being more himself. I wondered if he was more at ease with Jimmy having met him at the Revlon Walk Run.

I enjoyed all the aforementioned bits, too. I also enjoyed Matt’s description of his experience co-hosting with Hoda, not having been “proffered that much alcohol since a high school kegger”. Was Hoda trying to get Matt drunk? Also love his “Have Franzia, will travel” quip.

@Dev, totally agree with you! Much more at ease in this interview than previous ones. And those lines were total perfection too.

I agree with everyone, he did seem more relaxed here, but he really is in constant motion, isn’t he:)? I think it’s adorable…especially because despite that there is a real calmness to him:). I can’t really explain it, haha:).
