I knew from the first 15 minutes the show was going to be special. Also, knew it was going to launch Matt on a path to major stardom that he truly deserves.

For some reason, it seems longer than a year. I rarely watch new shows because most of the new ones aren’t worth anything. But I am so glad I paid attention to the ads for the show that were shown during Monk. The show looked ‘decent’ and reminded me of the old drama shows that had fairly clean content. I was hooked before the show ended. I haven’t been into a show like this since ER in it’s early years! Congratulations to everyone involved in the show, and esp. to Jeff Eastin for creating it. It is the best show with a wonderful cast. And thank you Mr. Matt for giving us you…you’re the best. :D <3

Hi from Portugal.
I want to say thank you Kelly for your great work.
I’ve been lurking here for the past 6 months but i haven’t reply before because of my splelling.
Today I decide to try because I don’t undestand the education system of the USA and I don’t undestand what the “1996 who’ who” mean (most popular???).
I apreciate if someone could explain this to me. Thank you for your cooperation and keep your fantastic work kelly.

When American high school students are 18 year-old high school seniors in their final year of school before going to university as Matt did, many honors are awarded based on student, perhaps teacher, nomination and election. The pictures of the winners are in the high school yearbook, a memory book put out by the school and bought by students. In 1996, the year Matt graduated from Klein High School in suburban Houston, Texas, he won at least two awards Kelly found for us, best personality, meaning people liked how he related with others, and Who’s Who. Who’s Who is an honor given to several students as you can see from the number of people selected along with Matt. The reasons for selection vary among schools but may be awarded to successful high school students that classmates believed would also be successful in the real world. So, Matt always been a winner — no surprise to his fans, huh Nanda?
Feel free to add your take on this.

Thank you Kat’ mom for your answer. The american system is completely diferent from the portuguese and the french (where i graduate from high school). I’m not surprised to know that Matt won best personality because even now, in the ways he talks to fans ou press, in the way he does charity work (and not for the publicity) we see that he respect and try to help others, and this, for me is very important. But everyone here already knew that.
Thank’s again for your answer.

On the Klein High School Link: If you look under Activities and Clubs then Clubs and Organizations then Drama then Alumni Update – there is a update on successful gradulates and where they are now. Of course, Matt Bomer and a summary of what he is doing now is on there.
